REVIVAL IS IN THE AIR

You guys!! I have not been on here in forever but my heart can no longer contain the thankfulness to my Jesus, I have to brag on Him.

This year Jesus has completely wrecked me. So much has been learned, such a beautiful relationship has been cultivated, prayer life is soaring, boldness rising, just everything with Jesus has sky rocketed. 2020, oh the infamous 2020. So many curse it. The year that has taken a lot.

BUT if you just look at the spiritual! Guys just look at Jesus.

I have had something stirring in my spirit for so many days now and its this. WHEN WE FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS, WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE, EVERYTHING ELSE FALLS INTO PLACE. Way to often as a church we get bombarded with how much we have to read the Bible, how often we have to pray, which way to dress, what music to listen to. But here is the good news:

JESUS DIED SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY OF THAT!!

All we have to do is focus on Him. When we truly set our gaze on the Author and Perfector of of our faith, THEN all the other things fall into place. When we place Jesus first, then it becomes natural to love others, it becomes a longing to dress modestly, your heart craves to praise Jesus, and at the same time, when we slip up, the conviction of the Holy Spirit comes and sets us right back on track.

That is what is so beautiful about a relationship with Jesus, we don't have to be perfect or have it all together to come to Him! Oh so beautiful a Savior that would accept, love, and redeem us in the midst of our sins and transgressions. He IS Perfect Love and oh how thankful I am that He has stormed my life with His love.

This past year has been completely wrecking yet so amazing. I just wrote in a Facebook post this, "I keep seeing videos, pictures, and hearing testimonies of how revival is just breaking out everywhere. Believers all across the world are storming the gates of Heaven with praise, love, adoration, and thankfulness to our Father! Yet I can’t help but think. Back in February Bethel released an album called “Revival’s In the Air.” Two of their songs were so prophetic, the song Revival is In the Air and Better Than (go listen if you haven’t). When it was released, quarantine had just started. When in an interview, Melissa Helser said, “It’s such an odd time to release a song of so much hope and encouragement.” And she later said that she just began to sing the melody after she heard the news that her brother, a struggling addict, came to Christ.

It takes one yes, and soon those yesses add up!! I’m so thankful to be able to watch and be apart of such an amazing time as this. 2020 has been amazing to me, because it’s the year that God showed His love, grace, and it’s the year He awoke His church. Thank you Jesus, I’ll forever praise you for 2020!!

This is my heart, I have to share how much better this year has been than I could have ever dreamt. Relationships that have been restored, love that has been given, redemption and such important lessons that have been accepted and learned. I have been able to cultivate so many relationships that it is insane.

When I say that I love Jesus, I mean it. This is why. If He never did anything else, I could praise Him for eternity just off of what He has done this week alone. Jesus is so good guys! Reach out to me, call me, message me, I am more than willing to talk Jesus with you guys!!! My heart overflows with so much joy and thankfulness.

Also: I suggest listening to Bethel Music's "Better Than" and "Revival's In the Air." Such prophetic songs for this time which came out right when quarantine started. Also, follow along with Sean Feucht's revivals, just watching the people come to Jesus and be set free is such an encouragement. It gets me pumped!!

Im going to end with these lyrics to Better Than, "It's gonna be better than, better than, better than I could dream." I believe that life is just going up from here! YES, I PRAY THAT THIS IS THE NEW NORMAL!! MY HEART OVERFLOWS.
