Reminder: His Never-Ending Beauty

This past week, I had an amazing opportunity to go to Boston, Massachusetts for a conference with my school. To get there, we flew from Savannah, Ga to Charolette, NC and then to Boston. I enjoy flying, once we get in the air. I get very nervous during take-off and landing. So we get in the air, headed to NC, and I am finally starting to calm down when the Lord speaks to me and says, "Just look at my beauty."

I have already made a blog post about His beauty before but I just cannot get my mind off of it. So I was sitting one seat from the window and my friend just happened to open the window right before this happened. As I look out over the clouds, I was speechless. It was this mindless and almost wasteful beauty that God blesses us with. I believe that He shows us these masterpieces that are so beautiful for just a short time for a reason.

It reminds me of the Bible verse, Luke 12:28, which says, "And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?"

As I was focusing on His beauty, listening to Tremble by Mosaic Music (shoutout because they are amazing), and thinking about this verse, I slowly began to relax and breathe.

It is just so crazy how just thinking about the beauty of God just calms you. Today, I am not only thankful to be back at home, but I am also thankful for His wonder, beauty, and compassion. I am thankful that He cares about me enough to speak to me, show me clouds, and allows me to calm down. Thankful for peace and freedom.
