Happy Birthday to Us!!

Happy New Year and happy birthday to "We're Forever Changed!"

This year has been an amazing, exciting, and freeing year! I am so thankful that one year ago I made a spontaneous decision to create a blog, it was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Through this blog, God has been able to work on me and has allowed me to share what I have been learning in my walk with him.

I am not saying that everything this year has been amazing but I am saying that everything done this year was worth it. I have found freedom, switched schools, made new friends, developed my voice and much more. This year, everything that I wrote about in my blogs was very personal to me and I would never write without learning the lesson myself before. My posts were led by the Lord and I am so thankful for that. He has helped me grow this blog into something amazing that has impacted many lives. All of the posts on this blog were very pivotal and growing times in my life. I would say that each post is like an alter, marking where I have been. They are to inspire others and show them that a relationship with Jesus is possible and achievable. These posts are to show that you can dance in the yard. These posts are so I can look back and see how far God brought me and in the midst I get to be a conduit for Him to work in your life.

One of the main things that I am thankful for is that love and support for this blog by all of my family and friends! They have been so amazing and supportive.

For 2019 my word was "excitement." I felt like this year was going to be an exciting one and it turned out to be just that. I found myself so many times this year just being so excited for whatever. I would be excited for things as little as volunteering at the nursing home to getting my license. This year has shown me that there is always something to be excited for. It has also proven that your self confidence goes a lot high and your focus game gets stronger when you delete social media. 2019 proved that Jesus is always there, He has always been there, and He will continue to be here forever. This year shown that Jesus is listening, He is there when you are crying in bed and when your have the time of your life. I am so thankful for that. He is the reason that this year was so freeing, exciting, amazing, life-changing, wisdom-giving, and joy-filled. Thank you Jesus!

The year of 2019 has been a good one! Thank you 2019 for being so amazing to me. Now onto 2020. A new decade, year, and day. How amazing?! I have high hopes for 2020 and every year they will continue to get higher! For the last time, thank you for making this year something worth remembering, you guys are the best.
